Text: Esther 6 v 1-12
It takes a sensitive believer to know when it is the right season for him or her. One cannot know this without being alert as learnt last week. In the bible text for today, we read about the story of Mordecai as our case study.
Mordecai was the cousin of Esther. He adopted her and took care of her as his own daughter. Let us go to chapter 2 to know how Mordecai’s name came up for remembrance.

Esther 2 v 21
“In those days, while Mordecai sat within the king’s gate, two of the king’s eunuchs, Bigthan and Teresh, doorkeepers, became furious and sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. 22 So the matter became known to Mordecai, who told Queen Esther, and Esther informed the king in Mordecai’s name. 23 And when an inquiry was made into the matter, it was confirmed, and both were hanged on a gallows; and it was written in the book of the chronicles in the presence of the king”.

Mordecai was a Jew in a foreign land. He didn’t have to report these conspirators to the Queen, but he understood the times and seasons. He knew that there was a reason his cousin, Queen Esther was graced with such a position as that. He sensed within his spirit that she was the medium God was going to use to save the Jews from their enemies later on (Esther 9:5).

So I need you to ask yourself this, DO I KNOW MY APPOINTED TIME? WILL I BE READY WHEN MY TIME COMES? Thank God for the Holy Spirit made available to us to guide and alert us. But we have to be alert to the things of the Spirit, to know the seasons of the Spirit.
Say this to yourself: MY TIME IS NOW. I GO FORTH AND I PROSPER IN JESUS AMEN.
